Athletics Director: James Price

I have been in Education for 20 years as a classroom teacher, Athletic Director, football, basketball and track coach.  I am originally from Sumter, SC where I attended and graduated from Sumter High.  I then moved on to Knoxville College and Benedict College where I graduated with a degree in elementary education.  I have had the privilege of working in Lee County School District since 2009.  It has be an honor to work with young people from my days of teaching at West Lee Elementary right on to Lee Central Middle.  I was bestowed the honor of representing Lee Central Middle as campus teacher of the year for the 2015-2016 school year.  I was also named the Lee County School District teacher of the year for the 2015-2016 school year.  I am so thankful to the leadership of Lee County for allowing me the opportunity to mold so many young lives in the classroom by way of teaching mathematics and also to guide them in their athletic endeavors through coaching.  My philosophy is “Today I can” achieve and accomplish any and all things with a positive mindset and a collaborative effort with community, co-workers and students.
